Lecture on aging and the future

Tihana Rubić and Ana-Marija Vukušić took part in the twelfth international conference “Aging and Social Change“. At the conference, held in a hybrid form (online and in Krakow, Poland) from September 22-23, 2022, they held a lecture titled „Aging in Unsettled Times: Managing the Present and Perceiving the Futures in Contemporary Croatia“. The theme of this year’s conference was Considering Aging Policies: Between the Local and the Global and the lecture took place within the session „Social and Cultural Perspectives on Aging“.

The lecture gave a preliminary comparative analysis of the intergenerational relations of care and socio-economic characteristics of  two cities (Zagreb and Kutina) and rural areas.
